You can expect to be charged for appointments canceled with less than seven days notice... except that you will not be charged if we fill the appointment, or if you reschedule the appointment to an earlier date and time.
Patients in active treatment need to always have a future appointment scheduled. If you cancel this appointment without scheduling a new appointment you will go into "pending appointment" status - which means that we will not authorize new prescriptions or refills until you first setup an appointment. After two weeks, people without future appointments go into "inactive" status which means that the clinicians at Gateway are no longer available for urgent issues until after a next appointment takes place.
