This blog post provides information about Doxy.me a HIPAA compliant tele-psychiatry platform that we use at Gateway Psychiatric.doxy.me

Doxy.me is a simple and secure Web-based video solution designed for telemedicine.

Doxy.me automatically works with popular internet browsers, such as Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox, without requiring additional downloads or plug-ins to install.

  • Doxy.me does not work with Safari or Internet Explorer. In order to use it from a desktop you will need to install Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox.

Doxy.me also has apps that you can install to allow you to access the service from an android or iPhone.

  • On the day before your appointment, please make sure that you have the proper browser or app installed and sign in to the “waiting room” by following the link that you have been given, and, if necessary, entering your meeting password. This will allow the Doxy.me software to confirm that you have a connection that should work for your appointment.
If Doxy.me detects problems with your system or device you will be notified during the check in process, and Doxy.me will help you troubleshoot any issues.

  • On the day of your appointment, please check into the waiting room 15 minutes before the appointment.

You are not required to register or login to use Doxy.me!

Meeting participants will enjoy a secure, high-quality audio and video feed over a peer-to-peer encrypted online connection.
